Each part of Cameron Highlands has its own individual charm and attractions, and
together they combine to provide all the ingredients for a memorable holiday, no
matter what your interest or what time of the year.
Cameron Highlands features a number of nature trails which varies in difficulty.
Nature lovers will enjoy the trails which takes you to see some of the
spectacular views of the highland forests. You will discover the unspoiled
natural beauty of Cameron Highlands as you wonder through the various forest
plants and animals. It is best to engage the services of a guide if you wish to
explore the harder trails.
Fruits and vegetables like tomato, cauliflower and cabbage, and
strawberries grow fresh and healthy in the cool climate and fertile soils of the
highlands. You can buy them either at the market or the farm itself. Be sure to
bargain for a good price!

Hiking
If you're fit and nature lover , a trip to the mountains
should be on the agenda. The peak of Gunung Brinchang at 2030 metres offer
magnificent panoramic views of the highlands . Maps are available for
the most of the routes , guide is recommended . |

Trekking
There are many interesting
jungle walks in Cameron Highlands. Some are just a short gentle stroll and
others a half-day track for the very fit. Two of them lead to the popular Parit Waterfall and Robinson
Waterfall near Tanah Rata. Maps showing the trails are available at most of
the shops and most hotels. |

Tea plantation
Tea plantations is one of the must-see features of Cameron
Highlands. You can visit the factories to see the process of tea production
and some have shops where you can drink and buy tea. The view overlooking
the plantations are beautiful, perfect for the picture album. |

Fruit and vegetable farms
Fruit and vegetable farms are located throughout the highlands. Most farms
allow visitors in and you can also buy them fresh on-site. The most interesting ones can be found
along the Boh Tea Estate road at Habu and in the area surrounding the
Equatorial Hotel after Brinchang . |

Flower and plant nurseries
Cameron Highlands is Malaysia's leading producer of fresh flowers. At the
flower gardens and nurseries, be dazzled with the mix of colors and species
being grown here. Most
nurseries allow visitors to view their vvarious varieties. |

Markets
The market is a good place to look for everything under one roof. The main
markets are located in Kea Farm , a night market (on Saturday) comes
alive in Brinchang offering an abundance of fruits, flowers, vegetables and
souvenirs. |

Butterfly gardens
The two farms are Butterfly Farm
and Butterfly Garden , both have various species of
butterflies and insects
including the well-known Raja Brooke butterfly . |
